Job description

Braun Intertec is seeking a Construction Materials Lab Technician to join our Bloomington, MN office. As a technician, you will perform a variety of testing on construction materials such as soils, concrete, masonry, and asphalt.
Responsibilities
  • Receive and log concrete and soil samples
  • Performs and understand various laboratory test procedures
  • Assist in AMRL and CCRL (regulatory standards) assessments
  • Assist with Braun Quality system for the laboratory
  • Enter and understand lab data
  • Maintain laboratory equipment in good operating condition.
  • Other miscellaneous laboratory tasks as assigned

Required Skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
  • Proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • ACI, MnDOT and related industry certifications preferred

Required Experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of construction materials lab experience
  • Must have valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record
  • The ability to lift 50-75+ pounds
