Job description

Braun Intertec is seeking a Nondestructive Examination (NDE) - Level II Radiographer in Minot, ND.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform Ultrasonic, radiographic, magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, and visual inspections on specifically assigned field or laboratory projects
  • Works independently as crew lead on job sites
  • Trains assistants on proper processes and procedures
  • Prepare reports and other work documents in a timely and accurate manner
  • Understands and utilizes safe work practices

Required Skills:
  • Post education in nondestructive testing
  • IRRSP card for industrial radiography
  • 80 hours of RT classroom training
  • 40 hour radiation safety training
  • TWIC badge a plus
  • Recent experience performing magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, ultrasonic, radiographic and visual inspections

Required Experience:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Familiar with NDT equipment
  • Experienced with NDT methods and procedures
  • Must meet or exceed ASNT-TC-1A Level II requirement for experience and education
  • Must have a valid driver's license and be willing to travel
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 75 lbs.
  • Must be able to work off ladders and scaffold
