Job description

Promising Futures, Inc. is a social service agency in the area of child welfare. Our goal is to break the cycle and silence of violence. We partner with various agencies to accomplish the goal of keeping families safe. We are looking for individuals who have a passion to help those in need. Promising Futures, Inc. is looking for dedicated and experienced individuals for the position as a Child Welfare Supervisor I.
Child Welfare Supervisor I job description includes but not limited to:
Conduct staff meetings when requested

Assist in providing ongoing training to employees

Ensure staff are giving Consumer Satisfaction

Provide Staff Supervision

Case Management and other direct services to clients

Assist with conducting 90 day and annual evaluations

Assist or conduct new hire trainings and set up shadowing.

Assist in recruiting, interviewing, hiring, salary changes, promotions and terminations

Hold staff accountable to organizations and referring sources policies and procedures

Respond to crisis calls and incident reports from staff and referring sources

Conduct on-going shadowing of workers to ensure quality of services

Assist in reviewing client paperwork

Assist in workers meeting client quota

Hold workers accountable for fulfillment of their duties as outlined in their job description

Obtain worker feedback and suggestions for future development

Assist with the compiling and maintain resources for workers and clients

Assist in writing PF Newsletters for the agency region

Assist workers with scheduling

Assure timely attention to core issues

Attend all meetings and trainings

Assist in creating and training field worker teams

Assist in training potential field workers

Assist with internal and external audits

Maintain client confidentiality

Monitor Company Vehicles

Assist with marketing and branding

Educational Requirements

At least a bachelor’s degree in psychology or Sociology, or Social Work

Preferred Educational Requirements: Master’s degree in psychology, Sociology, Social Work or in a directly related human services field

General Requirements

Must pass all background checks which include National FBI Check National Sex Offender Child Protective Services Check Local Background Checks

Must pass all drug screens

Must have a valid Driver's License

Must have a reliable vehicle with the ability to use private car to transport self and others.

Must be able to work weekends

The Employee is responsible for obtaining Automobile insurance coverage ($100,000/$300,000).

Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds Must be able to stoop, bend, sit, kneel and stand for long periods of time


Work Schedule

The worker must be available to work full time

The worker must have weekend availability

This position may be "on call " when needed.

This worker must be available between the administrative and field worker hours of 7:00am and 8:00pm your time zone.
