Job description

Have you built a successful career in sales or leadership and started wondering what it would be like to build a business of your own?

The Rappa District Office is looking for someone to build and operate a Farmers Insurance agency in Augusta. You’ll use your sales experience to develop a client base, create relationships in the community, and build a team as your agency grows.

You don’t need an insurance background to be considered. We’re looking for someone who can create opportunities, follow up consistently, lead others, and take responsibility for business results. We provide licensing support, training, and ongoing guidance throughout the process.

This is an agency ownership opportunity, not a traditional salaried sales position.

Benefits

  • $5,000 launch bonus
  • Up to $6,000 in office-branding support
  • Enhanced compensation with a 340% multiplier on top of standard commissions
  • Up to $500 per month in marketing support
  • Unlimited commission and performance-based bonus potential
  • Training and hands-on support from the Rappa District Office
  • Direct mentorship from District Manager Richard Rappa
  • Monday–Friday business schedule
  • Flexible schedule
Responsibilities

As an agency owner, you’ll:

  • Develop a plan for bringing new business into the agency
  • Build a pipeline through referrals, networking, marketing, and community involvement
  • Talk with clients about their needs and recommend appropriate insurance solutions
  • Develop long-term client relationships and support retention
  • Set production and revenue goals and track the agency’s progress
  • Recruit, coach, and lead producers as the agency grows
  • Build relationships with local businesses and referral partners

If you’re interested in putting your sales and leadership experience toward a business of your own, apply today.

Requirements

We may be a good fit if you:

  • Have experience in sales, business development, leadership, or another client-facing role
  • Know how to build a pipeline and follow opportunities through to a decision
  • Enjoy meeting people and developing professional relationships
  • Want to lead a team and be responsible for agency results
  • Are willing to become involved in the Augusta community
  • Hold Georgia Property Casualty and Life Health licenses or are willing to obtain them with our support

Insurance experience is helpful, but it is not required.
