A premier international law firm is seeking a Junior Trademark, Copyright, Internet & Advertising Associate Attorney to join its Seattle office.

This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing startups, emerging growth companies, and Fortune 500 companies on sophisticated trademark, copyright, internet, and brand protection matters.

Ideal Background

2–4 years of trademark, copyright, internet, or intellectual property experience gained at a sophisticated law firm

• Experience handling U.S. and international trademark clearance, counseling, prosecution, maintenance, and enforcement

• Experience with Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB) proceedings and Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP) matters is strongly preferred

• Experience advising clients on copyright counseling, registration, prosecution, licensing, and enforcement

• Experience protecting and enforcing brand portfolios, domain names, online intellectual property rights, and advertising matters

• Experience representing startups, emerging growth companies, technology companies, consumer brands, and Fortune 500 companies is preferred

• Strong legal research, drafting, analytical, and communication skills

• Ability to independently manage sophisticated intellectual property matters while maintaining significant client interaction

• Large law firm experience preferred

• Outstanding academic credentials and excellent legal writing skills

J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required

Washington bar admission required or ability to become admitted
