Job description

This role is based at our Corporate Office in Menomonee Falls, WI. You’ll work onsite from Monday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Fridays.

About the Role

In this role, your work will sit at the intersection of customer insights, brand strategy and merchant collaboration. You will drive brand clarity and customer relevance across Kohl’s product portfolio and marketing efforts, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and committees to establish clear, consistent brands. 

What You’ll Do

  • Champion the development and execution of brand strategies that align with customer needs, market trends and business objectives

  • Drive customer relevance by embedding insights into brand positioning, storytelling and experience design

  • Lead strategic forums, including Private Brand Summits, bringing together senior leaders from merchandising, design and marketing to align on brand direction and execution

  • Own and evolve the private brand evaluation framework to assess brand health, performance and strategic fit

  • Conduct brand portfolio audits and guide cross-category decision-making to optimize brand positioning

  • Build a comprehensive private brand playbook and roadmap that informs go-to-market strategies for both marketing and merchandising teams

  • Write, refine and maintain brand profiles to ensure alignment on voice, identity and aesthetic

  • Identify opportunities to elevate brand storytelling across channels and campaigns

  • Partner with senior cross-functional leaders to make thoughtful recommendations

  • Monitor brand performance and synthesize insights to inform continuous improvement

  • Additional tasks may be assigned

What Skills You Have

Required

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in marketing strategy, preferably brand management

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or equivalent
