Job description

Brand Manager
Reports to: Senior Director of Marketing & Innovation
About the Role
At Tofurky, we believe great brands are built by people who are endlessly curious, consumer obsessed, and never satisfied with "good enough."
As Brand Manager, you'll help bring our brands to life across every consumer touchpoint-from social media and influencer partnerships to retailer programs, product launches, and creative campaigns. You'll partner closely with Sales, Innovation, Creative, and agency partners to build marketing that drives awareness, trial, repeat purchase, and long-term brand growth.
While your primary focus will be Tofurky and Moocho Dairy-Free, you'll also have opportunities to support additional Morinaga brands and strategic initiatives as the business evolves.
What You'll Do
  • Develop and execute omnichannel marketing initiatives that strengthen our brands and drive awareness, trial, conversion, and repeat purchase across the consumer journey.
  • Manage agency and external partners across social media, PR, influencers, ecommerce, and creative to ensure projects stay on strategy, on budget, and on time.
  • Partner closely with Sales to develop compelling retailer presentations, category reviews, selling stories, and customer-specific marketing programs grounded in consumer insights and syndicated data.
  • Serve as a strategic marketing partner to the Sales team, helping transform data into persuasive customer narratives that strengthen retailer relationships, support new item launches, and help win new business.
  • Lead shopper marketing and retail activation efforts, developing omnichannel programs that connect national marketing with retailer-specific opportunities and deliver measurable business results.
  • Identify and cultivate influencer, brand, retailer, and community partnerships that expand brand reach, increase trial, and create meaningful consumer connections.
  • Support innovation commercialization, helping translate new products into successful launches through positioning, messaging, retail activation, ecommerce, sampling, and marketing support.
  • Lead creative projects from concept through execution, developing thoughtful creative briefs, partnering with agencies and internal creative resources, and ensuring every deliverable reflects our brand standards and business objectives.
  • Monitor marketing, shopper marketing, and ecommerce performance, using consumer insights, syndicated data, and campaign analytics to optimize future investments and improve ROI.
  • Support trade show planning, customer events, and brand activations that strengthen customer relationships and bring our brands to life.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Innovation, Operations, and Leadership to identify opportunities, solve business challenges, and bring new ideas to market.

Who You Are
You might be a fit if you...
  • Are naturally curious and always asking "What if?" and "So what?"
  • Love both creativity and analytics.
  • Can turn consumer insights into marketing ideas-and marketing ideas into business results.
  • Enjoy building relationships with agencies, retailers, creators, and cross-functional teams.
  • Thrive in a fast-moving environment where priorities evolve.
  • Sweat the details but never lose sight of the bigger picture.
  • Have a bias for action and enjoy making things happen.
  • Believe great marketing should be measurable, memorable, and consumer-first.

What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field, or equivalent years of experience in lieu of degree.
  • 5+ years of experience in brand management, shopper marketing, consumer marketing, or integrated marketing within CPG.
  • Experience managing agencies and cross-functional projects.
  • Experience working with syndicated data (SPINS, Circana, NielsenIQ or similar).
  • Strong presentation and storytelling skills.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Passion for food, consumer trends, and building brands people love.
