Job description

Title: Senior Brand Designer

Location: United States; Remote, CST/EST or Canada

Experience: Mid-Senior

Job Function: Marketing

Employment Type: Full-time

Industry: Computer & Network Security

About the position

Keyfactor is on a mission to build a more trusted, connected world and we need a designer who can bring that vision to life visually. As Senior Brand Designer, you'll be the creative backbone of a small, agile brand and creative services team, working alongside one designer, one project manager, and the team's director.

This isn't a typical production design role. We're looking for someone who can ideate from scratch and execute across a wide range of formats. Someone who thinks with creative direction, but can also make an ad that pops, design an ebook, or create a compelling slide deck.

Keyfactor's brand is authentic, relatable, and helpful. We reach our buyers in creative ways that resonate, and we need someone who gets that instinctively and can push it forward. If you're energized by the idea of shaping a bold brand in an industry that desperately needs creativity, this is your opportunity.

Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States or Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Own Creative Execution: Design high-quality brand and marketing assets across the full spectrum, including web pages, social media, presentations, collateral, event materials, and graphics.
  • Create from Scratch: Develop original graphics, illustrations, and visual concepts from the ground up (not just assemble stock imagery). Bring raw creative talent to every project.
  • Support Creative Direction: Contribute to creative ideation and art direction across campaigns and brand initiatives. Help shape the visual identity and push the brand forward, not just execute on briefs.
  • Evolve the Brand Identity: Keep our brand identity bold and consistent by refining iconography, illustration systems, photography direction, and motion design language.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with product marketing, demand generation, field marketing, and various internal teams to deliver creative that supports pipeline, brand awareness, and customer engagement.
  • Champion Brand Consistency: Ensure all creative output is on brand and reflects Keyfactor's distinctive visual identity across every touchpoint.
  • Leverage AI and Modern Tools: Explore and integrate AI-powered design tools to accelerate workflows, generate concepts, and multiply creative output without sacrificing quality and authenticity.

Skills and Qualifications

  • You have a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or a related field
  • You have 6+ years of experience in visual, brand, or graphic design
  • You have advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and/or Canva
  • You have a strong portfolio demonstrating original graphic creation, brand design, and creative ideation (not just template-based or stock-driven work)
  • You have hands-on experience with web page design and layout
  • You can provide creative direction and contribute to art direction alongside execution (you're not waiting for someone to tell you what to make)
  • You thrive on a small, fast-moving team where autonomy, ownership, and creative problem-solving are the norm
  • You have strong communication skills and can present creative concepts, explain design rationale, and collaborate effectively across teams
  • Bonus: You have experience in motion design
  • Bonus: Experience with AI-powered design and creative tools
  • Bonus: Familiarity with the cybersecurity market
