Senior Manager, Brand Design

Location: New York City | Hybrid

A well-established consumer retail brand is seeking a Senior Manager, Brand Design to lead the creative development and execution of seasonal, promotional, and brand marketing campaigns across digital, ecommerce, social, email, print, and in-store channels.

This is an excellent opportunity for a strong creative leader who can combine brand strategy, elevated visual storytelling, and hands‑on design leadership while managing and developing a talented creative team.

What You'll Do
  • Lead the creative development and execution of integrated brand and marketing campaigns across digital, ecommerce, social media, email, print, and in-store channels.
  • Translate marketing strategies and business objectives into compelling, customer-focused visual concepts.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Ecommerce, Merchandising, Stores, and Creative teams to bring seasonal campaigns and brand initiatives to life.
  • Oversee the development of campaign assets, including digital content, layouts, photography, and motion graphics.
  • Establish and maintain campaign style guides, templates, and design standards to ensure a cohesive brand identity across all customer touchpoints.
  • Provide creative direction, feedback, and quality assurance throughout the design and production process.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of graphic designers while fostering a collaborative, high-performing creative environment.
  • Stay ahead of emerging design trends, technologies, and creative best practices to continuously evolve the brand's visual expression.
  • Participate in photography shoots and occasional business travel as needed.
What We're Looking For
  • 4–6+ years of experience in print and digital design supporting integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns.
  • 2+ years of experience leading, mentoring, or developing creative/design teams.
  • Previous experience within retail, fashion, consumer goods, or another consumer-facing brand strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Marketing Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
  • Strong command of typography, branding, layout, and visual storytelling.
  • Experience with both print production and digital media requirements.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • Ability to confidently present creative concepts and articulate the thinking behind the work.
  • Strong cross-functional communication skills with the ability to synthesize feedback from multiple stakeholders.
  • Highly organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
