Sales-Focused Branch Manager

Surge Staffing is seeking a high-energy, sales-driven professional to join our team in Pooler as a Sales Focused Branch Manager. This is a permanent, full-time internal position designed for an individual who is motivated to grow into a leadership role. The selected candidate will begin by learning our operations, sales strategy, and recruiting processes before transitioning into a Branch Manager title based on performance.

We are looking for someone with a strong sales background, leadership potential, excellent work ethic, and a professional phone presence.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sales & Business Development Focus (Primary Emphasis):

  • Drive new business development through outside sales calls, networking, and lead generation

  • Build and maintain strong client partnerships to grow market share and branch revenue

  • Conduct service calls and sales visits to ensure customer satisfaction and identify growth opportunities

  • Present and promote additional Surge Staffing services to current and prospective clients

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies for client acquisition and retention

Recruiting & Operations:

  • Recruit, interview, and onboard candidates to meet client workforce needs

  • Perform resume searches and utilize job boards and candidate pools to fill open positions quickly

  • Strategically match employee skill sets to client hiring requirements

  • Maintain strong communication between clients and temporary associates

  • Troubleshoot and resolve associate and client concerns professionally

  • Maximize billable hours and branch profitability

  • Perform administrative tasks that support overall branch performance

Leadership Development (Branch Manager Track):

  • Learn full branch operations including sales metrics, recruiting KPIs, and performance management

  • Assist in coaching and mentoring temporary associates

  • Support training initiatives and team development

  • Prepare to take on full branch leadership responsibilities based on performance

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum 1 year of sales experience required (outside sales preferred)

  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals

  • Leadership experience or strong leadership potential preferred

  • Previous experience in staffing, recruiting, human resources, or service industry a plus

  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet applications

  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client sites as needed

  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

  • Sales-minded, competitive, results-driven, and calm under pressure

Growth Opportunity:

This role is structured as a Manager-in-Training position, with advancement to Branch Manager based on performance, sales growth, leadership capability, and operational mastery.
