THE ROLE
We're looking for travel enthusiasts with a passion for guest service for our depot in Boston. You'll be the face of our company, reporting directly to the Branch Manager, with the goal of ensuring an outstanding level of customer service, maintaining our fleet of campervans in top condition, and taking ownership of all issues that need to be managed to guarantee smooth operation of the depot.
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
    • Customer Service & Operations: Conduct check-ins/check-outs, customer briefings, and provide ongoing rental support. Handle service recovery and emergencies with empathy while ensuring an outstanding customer experience.
    • Vehicle Preparation & Cleaning: Prepare campervans for each rental by thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing interiors, restocking supplies, making beds when applicable, washing dishes and kitchen equipment, removing waste, and ensuring every vehicle meets Indie Campers' quality and presentation standards. Perform detailed vehicle inspections before each handover and report any maintenance issues identified during the preparation process.
    • Sales Demonstrations & Customer Engagement: Prepare and perform RV demonstrations, showcasing vehicle features, specifications, and customer-specific needs. Ensure smooth handovers and all required documentation is completed accurately.
    • Sales Conversion & Lead Management: Track leads, demonstrations, and follow-ups in the CRM. Convert rental customers into sales opportunities and support the RV Sales District and City Lead in achieving sales targets.
    • Product Knowledge & Technical Support: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Indie Campers' RV models and perform basic system demonstrations (lighting, gas, water, electrical systems, etc.). Troubleshoot basic issues and escalate technical concerns when needed.
    • Vehicle Preparation & Cleaning: Prepare campervans for each rental by thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing interiors, restocking supplies, making beds when applicable, washing dishes and kitchen equipment, removing waste, and ensuring every vehicle meets Indie Campers' quality and presentation standards. Perform detailed vehicle inspections before each handover and report any maintenance issues identified during the preparation process.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
  • You are a travel enthusiast with an aptitude for direct contact with customers, with experience in Tourism, Hospitality, Retail or Rent-a-car being desirable;
  • You're fluent in English (mandatory) and local language (if applicable);
  • You're eligible to work in United States, have a valid driver's license and feel confident enough to drive a campervan (mandatory);
  • You're available to work on weekends and public holidays;
  • You're a responsible person who takes their work seriously and can be relied upon;
  • You're well-organized and you're good at solving problems.
