Job description

Location: Niceville, FL

Position Overview

Benjamin Franklin Plumbing is seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead our Niceville location. This role is responsible for the overall performance of the branch, including team leadership, revenue growth, operational execution, customer experience, and profitability.

The Branch Manager will lead and develop a team of plumbing service and installation professionals while creating a culture of accountability, teamwork, and high performance. This position requires a hands-on leader who understands the plumbing industry, knows how to develop people, and can use key performance indicators to identify opportunities and drive results.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, coach, and develop service and installation technicians to achieve individual and branch goals.
  • Build a positive, accountable, and performance-driven team culture.
  • Partner with recruiting and HR to support staffing needs, onboarding, and employee retention.
  • Ensure new technicians receive the training, tools, and support needed to be successful.
  • Conduct regular performance conversations, coaching sessions, and reviews with team members.
  • Identify development opportunities and help employees grow within the organization.
  • Hold team members accountable to company expectations, policies, and performance standards.

Branch Operations

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Niceville branch and ensure the team is positioned for success.
  • Manage technician scheduling, staffing levels, equipment, inventory, and other operational needs.
  • Ensure company processes, safety standards, industry regulations, and plumbing codes are consistently followed.
  • Maintain an organized, professional, and efficient branch environment.
  • Work closely with other departments and company leadership to support operational priorities and company-wide initiatives.

Performance & Financial Management

  • Drive branch revenue, profitability, and overall business performance.
  • Monitor and manage key performance indicators, including revenue, technician productivity, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
  • Review branch performance regularly and take action when results are below expectations.
  • Manage expenses and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and control costs.
  • Develop and execute strategies to support continued branch growth.
  • Use performance data to coach the team, identify trends, and make informed business decisions.

Customer Experience

  • Ensure customers consistently receive professional, high-quality service.
  • Address escalated customer concerns quickly and professionally.
  • Reinforce customer service expectations with technicians and other branch employees.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the overall customer experience and strengthen customer retention.
Qualifications
  • Previous plumbing industry experience is required.
  • Previous leadership or management experience with responsibility for team and business performance.
  • Proven ability to coach, develop, and hold employees accountable.
  • Strong understanding of branch operations, revenue management, and performance metrics.
  • Experience managing budgets, expenses, and profitability.
  • Ability to analyze KPIs and use performance data to drive results.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and accountability.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Working knowledge of plumbing codes, safety requirements, and industry regulations.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Guaranteed base salary of $90,000 plus monthly performance-based incentive opportunities. Top-performing Branch Managers have the opportunity to earn $200,000+ annually.
