The Operations Manager is responsible for supporting the Branch manager in all areas of operations to drive growth and profit within the Branch. The following is a list of job duties for an Operations Manager. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Job Duties:
  • Assesslocalmarketconditions,identifycurrentandprospectivesalesopportunities, anddevelop forecasts, financial objectives, and business plans for the branch.
  • Recommenddesirablechangesinthepoliciesandgoalsofthebranchandtheorganization.
  • AssisttheRegionalandBranchManagerindevelopingbranchandorganizationalobjectives.
  • Addresscustomersatisfactionissuespromptly.
  • CooperatefullywiththeCreditDepartmentinextendingandenforcingcreditpolicy.
  • Achievetheprofitabilitygoals/objectivesofthedivision/branchandorganization.
  • Understandoverallaccountabilityforrevenue,margins,mix,andmarketshareobjectives.
  • Manageandgrowexistingdistributionaccountsfromanoperationslevel.
  • Analyzedatafortrendsanddevelopandexecute“value-added”programs.
  • Assistincreatingandimplementingprogramstodrivesalesandimprovemargins.
