Job description

We are hiring a Branch Manager for our 144th & F St location. The primary objective of this role will be to drive growth of the branch and contribute to the overall financial health as it relates to organizational goals.

The most successful person in this role will lead by example, provide exceptional member service, have a strong sales and managerial background and support, motivate, and influence staff in a positive way. This position will represent the Credit Union positively in the community, foster new business, and participate in professional and business associations for networking and referral opportunities.

We are proud to serve over 11,000 members in the Omaha Metro area.

Major Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Looks forward to leading, coaching, and developing branch staff and managing day-to-day branch activities including hiring, maintaining schedules, training, supervising, and evaluating.
  • Coach bankers to achieve sales goals.
  • Work collaboratively across the organization as well as with external vendors.
  • Responsible for management, sales, marketing, and leadership of the branch with ability to lead a sales-oriented team.
  • Manage branch operations to ensure safety and security of the branch; maintaining branch cash controls and other security compliance procedures.
  • Has a keen eye for detail and accuracy to ensure internal audit and procedures are followed by team members.
  • Ensures team members are proficient in assisting and educating members on how to conduct simple transactions via ATM/ITM, Mobile, and Online banking.

Experience & Education Requirements:

  • Minimum five years of banking or other financial industry related experience.
  • Three to five years of direct people management experience.
  • Knowledge of sales and service techniques.
  • Cash handling and balancing experience, required.
  • A bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred.

Other Requirements:

Must be available for Saturday branch coverage and on-call availability if needed.
