Job description

We're hiring a Brake Press Operator for a growing manufacturing facility in Tampa. This is a full-time, first-shift opportunity with a four-day work week. If you have experience operating a brake press or working in metal fabrication, we'd like to hear from you.

Brake Press Operator – 1st Shift
Location: Tampa, FL
Pay: $17.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Thursday | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Responsibilities
• Set up and operate a brake press machine.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production drawings.
• Measure, bend, and form metal materials to required specifications.
• Inspect finished parts to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Use tape measures, calipers, and other measuring tools.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Assist with other manufacturing duties as assigned.

Qualifications
• Previous brake press experience is preferred.
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
• Experience reading blueprints is preferred.
• Comfortable using hand tools and measuring equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to lift materials and stand for the duration of the shift.
• Steel-toe boots are required.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.
