Overview

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Brake Press Operators for projects located in the Fall River, WI area. This is a third shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $25-30/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:

  • Read and interpret blueprints
  • Calculate bend allowances for various material types and thicknesses
  • Select proper punch and die tooling
  • Sets-up adjusts and operates brake press to perform a wide variety of operations on a diversified line of work
  • Sets-up adjusts and operates brake press to run prototype jobs and new parts orders
  • Write set-up sheets and understands advanced programming functions
  • Inspect parts using precision measuring equipment and documents inspection data
  • Clean and organize work area
  • Other duties may be assigned

Responsibilities

  • One-year college/technical certificate or 5 years related experience/training with a high school diploma/ged or an equivalent mix of education and
  • experience
  • Ability to read and understand basic instructions memos manuals and procedures
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to clearly communicate information one-on-one or in small groups.
  • Basic math skills including working with whole numbers fractions decimals and calculating rates ratios and percentages
  • Ability to apply common-sense understanding to follow written verbal or diagrammed instructions and solve routine problems with concrete variables
