Job Summary
We are seeking a Director of Sales to join our team! As the Director of Sales, you will be overseeing the day-to-day activities of the sales, participating in brainstorming sessions to increase productivity and sales, and developing new sales strategies and opportunities for the team. You will also be responsible for performance reviews and conducting disciplinary actions as needed, hiring and training new staff members, and presenting sales reports to upper management and stakeholders. The ideal candidate has an extensive background in both management and sales, excellent communication skills, and strong problem-solving skills. 

Responsibilities 
  • Monitor the day-to-day activities of the sales team
  • Provide guidance and help with difficult sales situations
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate new leads, sales initiatives, and sales opportunities
  • Conduct performance reviews and disciplinary actions, as needed
  • Interview, hire, and train new staff members
  • Work closely with multiple departments and maintain strong relationships and lines of communication
Qualifications
  • Extensive sales and management experience desired for Hotel Industry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to multitask and shift priorities as needed
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team to success
