How do remote brainstorming facilitators keep virtual sessions engaging and productive?

Remote brainstorming facilitators often use a variety of interactive tools, such as digital whiteboards and real-time polling software, to ensure active participation from all team members. They structure sessions with clear objectives, time limits, and frequent breaks to maintain focus and energy. Facilitators also encourage open communication and use breakout rooms for smaller group discussions, making it easier for quieter participants to share ideas. Building trust within the virtual environment is essential, so setting ground rules and fostering a supportive atmosphere are common practices.

To thrive as a Remote Brainstorming Facilitator, you need strong creative thinking, group management, and problem-solving abilities, often supported by experience in facilitation or team leadership. These skills and qualifications are vital for generating diverse ideas, maintaining engagement, and achieving successful outcomes in remote brainstorming sessions.

What is remote brainstorming?

Remote brainstorming is a collaborative process where individuals or teams generate and share ideas from different locations using digital tools. Instead of meeting in person, participants use video conferencing, chat apps, or specialized brainstorming platforms to contribute and build on each other's ideas. This approach allows for greater flexibility, inclusion of geographically dispersed team members, and often results in a wider range of creative solutions. Remote brainstorming can be structured with clear guidelines, time limits, or prompts to ensure effective participation and idea generation.

Job description

ABOUT US

Reach Digital is an AI-first performance marketing agency helping eCommerce and digital product brands scale through creative, paid media, and landing pages. We are a true growth partner - going deep with brands to become integrated into their marketing team. We drive real growth by combining data, testing, and new ideas.

We're a fully remote team of creatives, editors, and growth strategists. We care about the work, and care about being the best at what we do.

THE ROLE

As a Creative Strategist at Reach, you own the creative end-to-end. You'll do the research, develop ad angles, write hooks, and build creative briefs that our editors execute, working directly with our brand partners and growth/design teams.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • You have 2+ years of digital marketing experience
  • You understand paid media and the types of content that converts
  • You enjoy brainstorming ad angles and concepts, then bringing them to life
  • You are detail-orientated, organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • You're willing to learn and get better even when that means giving and receiving feedback
  • You are comfortable communicating learnings with both team members and clients
  • You're genuinely passionate about creative strategy and staying on top of what's working -- you do this because you want to, not because you have to

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Analyzing performance, brainstorming ad angles and hook variations, and writing new briefs weekly for the editing team to produce
  • Owning the creative strategy for your brand partners, including a living strategy doc that tracks angles, performance, and what to test next
  • Staying current on platform trends, winning ad formats, and policy changes, and translating that into testable concepts for your accounts
  • Working with 3-5 brand partners at a time, with a focus on going deep into their creative and building new winning ads

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM US

  • Growth: We invest in the people who invest in the work. Expect regular creative reviews, direct feedback, and room to grow into senior roles as Reach scales.
  • Weekly Calls & Creative Training: Weekly team check-ins, creative reviews and training sessions. Calls are typically held between 12pm6pm EST on weekdays.
  • Generous PTO and benefits policy
  • Fully remote role (working US hours)
