Job description

Balance Point Wellness is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Healthcare (ACHC). We are a community-based holistic mental health and wellness center that provides counseling/psychotherapy, psychiatry, adventure therapy, and wellness services to individuals and families in Maryland. We are located in Baltimore, Bel Air, Salisbury, and Hunt Valley, MD. We also have Telehealth division and a school-based program in Baltimore County and Harford County Schools.

We are seeking talented staff members to join our team! Balance Point Wellness, LLC is seeking qualified licensed therapists (LMSW, LCSW-C, LGPC, LCPC, LCMFT, Psychologist, etc.) to provide mental health therapy to children and adolescents in Baltimore County schools.

We offer W2 Fee for Services.

Fee for Service positions have no cap on how much you can make!

Please note this is not a Guidance Counselor position. This is a Mental Health Therapist position within the Baltimore County schools.

Therapist Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage assigned caseload (Provide ongoing therapy)
  • Complete psychosocial assessments
  • Complete contact notes for completed sessions- All documentation is completed in a cloud-based EHR
  • Development of person-centered treatment plans when necessary

Requirements: Qualifications, Education, and Experience:

  • Master’s/doctorate in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling required
  • Licensed in Maryland to provide mental health treatment
  • Psychotherapy experience in a community setting preferred
