Job description

We are looking to expand and are in need of candidates with a positive, motivated attitude that would love to grow with the company. We would love for you to join us and be part of the Boiling Point family!

Purpose & Summary:

This position receives, stores, and distributes materials, tools, equipment and products within the warehouse to our restaurants and other corporate locations. Will also assist with deliveries of items to our restaurants with the company truck.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders for our restaurants and other corporate locations
  • Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas
  • Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color or product code
  • Prepare orders for delivery to the restaurants on a daily basis
  • Ensure warehouse is accessible and safe for customers and internal employees of BPG
  • Mark materials with identifying information using appropriate method
  • Assist in counting of physical inventory
  • Weigh and count items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards
  • May be assigned facilities maintenance duties as needed along with driver responsibilities
  • Organize warehouse and work areas for orderliness at all times
  • Wear the proper safety equipment
  • Maintain personal health and sanitation standards
  • Must be knowledgeable of all safety codes per BP's guidelines
  • Ensure compliance with BP’s code of ethics, integrity and conduct
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must be over 25 years of age at time of hire.
  • Must have valid driver’s license.
  • Must not have any DUI/DWI violations within last 3 years.
  • 1 year of warehouse experience preferred.
  • Friendly attitude with excellent customer service skills.
  • Able to multitask and work in a team environment.
  • High School diploma preferred.
  • All candidates are subject to a background check and employment verification process.
  • All candidates are subject to quarterly MVR checks (negative results may affect employment).

Physical Demands:
  • Ability to continuously stand or walk.
  • Ability to bend and lift frequently.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently.

Work Environment:
  • Work will be conducted in a warehouse environment.
  • May occasionally walk on slippery surfaces.
  • Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, feel, reach, grab, or lift.
  • Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, or climb.
  • Noise level in the work environment is frequently loud.
