Position Summary:
The Team Lead, Pre-Sales Solution Architecture is responsible for providing leadership, direction, and oversight to the Solution Architecture team while continuing to contribute to highlevel solution design for prospects and clients. This role ensures the team delivers consistent, scalable, and highquality solutions by standardizing processes, driving automation, and improving crossdepartmental communication. The Team Lead works closely with internal stakeholders and clients to understand business needs, provide technical guidance, and enable the team to meet performance and delivery expectations.

Key Responsibilities
People Leadership & Team Management

  • Provide daytoday leadership, coaching, and mentoring to Solution Architects, ensuring clarity of expectations, consistent delivery, and professional growth.
  • Conduct regular oneonones, performance evaluations, and development planning for team members.
  • Foster a collaborative, highperformance culture with a focus on accountability, continuous learning, and technical excellence.
  • Coordinate workload distribution, ensuring appropriate resource allocation across presales engagements.
  • Champion a peoplefirst leadership style that supports engagement, wellbeing, and teamwork.

Process Improvement & Standardization

  • Lead the development, documentation, and rollout of standardized Solution Architecture processes, templates, and best practices.
  • Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks, increase efficiency, and improve solution consistency across the team.
  • Implement scalable processes for solution design, estimation, handoff, and internal communication.
  • Monitor and refine workflows to ensure alignment with organizational goals and service offering maturity.

Technical Leadership & Client Engagement

  • Support the Bulletproof sales team by providing technical oversight for pre-sales activities and attending client meetings
  • Maintain expert knowledge of Bulletproof's products and services, with a focus on MSP and MSSP, and the way BP is delivering these services with input from the divisional operational VPs.
  • Guide team members in gathering client requirements, designing solutions, and following industry best practices. All in accordance with BP's standard processes.
  • Review and approve technical specifications, design documents, and other architectural artifacts generated by the team.
  • Oversee the development of accurate project scopes, timelines, and delivery expectations.
  • Support webinars, onsite visits, seminars, events, and tradeshows as needed.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and lead the team in recommending innovative, efficient solutions.

Cross Functional Communication & Collaboration

  • Act as the primary liaison between the Solution Architecture team and other departments, including Sales, MSP, and SOC Delivery, Professional Services, PMO, and Product Development.
  • Establish clear communication channels to improve visibility, feedback loops, and alignment on project scope, timelines, and priorities.
  • Provide timely updates, insights, and escalations to leadership and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure consistent, high-quality communication to clients, partners, and internal teams.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years technical sales or presales architecture experience; managed IT services & managed security services experience is required.
  • 5+ years working with vendors, distributors, and resellers within a channel structure.
  • 3+ years handson experience with Microsoft Windows operating systems and related software.
  • 3+ years administering and architecting cloud environments including Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and the Microsoft Defender suite.
  • Experience with SharePoint Online, Power Platform, and Azure DevOps.
  • 5+ years sizing, architecting, and deploying infrastructure solutions (servers, storage, virtualization, networking, security).
  • 5+ years designing Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery solutions.
  • Experience architecting solutions involving Microsoft, HPE, Dell, Cisco, and Fortinet equipment considered an asset.
