Job description

Bottle Logic Brewing is hiring a full-time On/Off Premise Bay Area Sales Representative to join our growing distribution team! The best candidate builds rapport with accounts and beer outlets in our designated delivery areas, communicates effectively, is action-oriented, and leads by example. The On/Off Premise Sales Representative is responsible for selling Bottle Logic beer by identifying and developing leads, educating potential customers, building positive, long-lasting rapport by delivering the correct products at the right time, maintaining clean draft lines of accounts, and collecting on payment when due.
YOUR ROLE WILL INCLUDE, BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO:
  • Be an outstanding salesperson who tells the story of every product in an inspiring way.
  • Be available to all customers to communicate, identify, and address questions.
  • Review the wholesale department's revenue, expense, and profit goals with the General Manager
  • Meet or exceed sales goals and KPIs related to things such as new customer acquisition and repeat sales.
  • Create and track success metrics.
  • Review local wholesale progress with the General Manager and suggest improvements.
  • Submit relevant feedback to the General Manager.
  • Monitor inventory levels and sell within allocations.
  • Support efficient routing and drop schedules.
  • Pull/stage products, load vehicles, and make deliveries that meet/exceed time and mileage goals.
  • Work Location Expectation: 20% at base; 80% on the road.

KPIs
  • Delegate workload appropriately and effectively.
  • Develop and support a positive attitude toward Bottle Logic Brewing and our operating partners.
  • Work with the General Manager to develop and attend critical events that will help maximize brand recognition and drive media attention.
  • Maintain safe working conditions. Resolve safety concerns quickly.
  • Perform duties as mutually agreed upon by you and the General Manager
  • This is a full-time hourly position. The typical workweek is 40 hours, with work availability on the weekends. Some weeks may exceed 40 hours depending on the nature of travel and events.

CANDIDATES MUST POSSESS:
  • Prior beer sales experience is preferred.
  • CA Driver's License with a clean driving record is required.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with customers, vendors, and coworkers in a professional and charismatic manner.
  • Self-motivation and the ability to stay motivated without supervision from superiors.
  • Excellent time management skills. Be able to be proactive and take initiative.
  • Excellent organization and coordination skills. Be able to manage priorities and routine functions effectively and efficiently.
  • Social perceptiveness - awareness of customers, vendors, and coworkers' space, time, and bandwidth.
  • Decision-making skills: collect, assess, and interpret relevant information to make sound judgments.
  • Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare analytical reports.
  • Ability to use data to make high-impact decisions and improvements.
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative in meeting sales and revenue goals.
  • Flexibility, ability to adapt quickly, and react positively to business needs and changes in strategies. Open to feedback with a "can-do" attitude
  • Ability to work with food-grade cleaning chemicals to regularly perform draft maintenance and cleanings.
  • Proficiency in Google Docs, Sheets, Microsoft Suite, and Ekos is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to reach overhead, bend, squat, kneel and carry products necessary for wholesale customers, inventory restocking, and warehouse organization.
  • Ability to perform warehouse duties like keg stacking, fork lifting, and reorganization.
  • Ability to safely lift kegs up to 165 lbs.
  • Comfortable driving a delivery van, box truck, and forklift certified.
