Boston Dynamics has an opening for a Strategic Account Manager, focused on New Logo Expansion, within our Warehouse Robotics team. The Strategic Accounts Manager will have a small number of major accounts that are critical to successful early growth of our warehouse robotics business. In this highly visible role, the right candidate will be a core part of the Boston Dynamics team creating the future of warehouse logistics robotics!

Boston Dynamics has an extraordinary and fast-growing technical team of engineers and scientists who seamlessly combine advanced analytical thinking with bold engineering.
Day to day activities include:
  • Manage relationships with large strategic customers
    • Establish long-term client relationships
    • Communicate with clients on a regular basis, respond to questions and resolve problems
    • Introduce new developments, applications and products to the relevant audiences
    • Develop a mapping and deep understanding of individual roles and responsibilities within the client organization
    • Assess the commercial potential of automation at a very detailed level within a customer's complete logistics network
    • Evaluate commercial and engineering aspects of customer requirements and implement sales and marketing strategies to satisfy those requirements
    • Understand the customer buying patterns, methods and preferred channels
    • Evaluate and report competitive pressures
  • Monitor project performance
    • Contribute to sales proposals/estimates/quotes; deliver to customer
    • Maintain and update sales forecast
    • Closely monitor project timelines; alert stakeholders of changes and areas of concern
    • Celebrate successes!
  • Collaborate with the client and Boston Dynamics team to plan and deliver products and services with clarity as well as a very high level of customer satisfaction.

Desired skills:
  • Bachelor's Degree in business administration or engineering related fields or a special combination of education and experience with demonstrated accomplishments
  • Minimum 8 years sales experience in the technology B2B environment.
  • Warehouse logistics and/or automation experience preferred
  • Experience forecasting multi-phase project work
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Develop sales presentations via either Microsoft and Google products
  • Negotiation skills with problem-solving attitude
  • Experience in crafting multi-dimensional customer frame agreements

Travel
Up to 50% travel including international
The base pay range for this position is between $118,193 to $131,325 annually. Base pay will depend on multiple individualized factors including, but not limited to internal equity, job related knowledge, skills and experience. This range represents a good faith estimate of compensation at the time of posting. Boston Dynamics offers a generous Benefits package including medical, dental vision, 401(k), paid time off and a annual bonus structure. Additional details regarding these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer for employment.
