Job Description

Aiding to the production process by assisting in the operation of the Hammer Drill operation. Responsible for gaining and maintaining general knowledge of machines throughout the conversion area. You will be responsible for completing the required training measures (PQ&T) as they are needed. You are responsible for maintaining the appropriate process systems, 6S and production standards. As a Bosch Associate, you will be expected to maintain a positive work environment and follow the appropriate safety procedures. You must be open and willing to assist others throughout the department.

Qualifications

Must be flexible and able to adapt quickly

General Math skills

Ability to multitask

Ability to stand for 8 hours

Ability to read and follow instructions

Ability to lift (up to) 40lb. boxes

High School Diploma or GED required

Prefer experience in machine operating

Additional Information

Load rolls of sandpaper on machine as needed

Use SAP to look up materials

Operate pin lift, pallet lift, and hoist

Assist in the set up and start up of the machine and operate successfully

Assist in making adjustments to machine as needed

Assist in the troubleshooting of machine issues and assist with repairs according to escalation plan

Reading and following standard operating procedures pertaining to the machine being operated

Follow the appropriate quality standards and measures for the machine being operated

Understand and following procedures pertaining to machine cleanliness and tool organization

Maintaining knowledge of all safety procedures associated with the machine being operated

Machine has a feeding system by clamp beam working on idle conveyor, the system is motorized. The feeding clamp beams are placed one before and one after cutting head.

Touch screen parameters provide the possibility to set material width in between the cuts (trim), to have the minimum waste as possible. A recipe menu provide the possibility to save machine setup data for each combination: shape size, master web width, material type, etc. The operator has only to recall the desired recipe to start a new machine setup.
