Security Guard – Clifton, NJ

OneService is seeking a professional and dependable Security Guard for a commercial bakery facility in Clifton, NJ.

Pay:

$16.00–$16.50 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)

Schedule:

Sunday–Friday: 5:00 PM–1:00 AM

Saturday: 12:00 PM–1:00 AM

Position Overview:

This position is stationed in a guard booth at a busy commercial bread bakery. The Security Guard will be responsible for controlling truck traffic, maintaining accurate records, and communicating with facility personnel to ensure efficient loading dock operations.

Responsibilities:

Sign trucks in and out of the facility;

Verify driver and vehicle information;

Use a two-way radio to notify loading dock personnel of arriving trucks;

Direct drivers to the appropriate loading dock;

Maintain visitor and vehicle logs;

Monitor facility access points;

Complete required reports and documentation;

Provide professional customer service to drivers, employees, and visitors.

Requirements:

• Valid NJ Security Officer Registration (SORA) License;

Must have a reliable personal vehicle. (The shift ends at 1:00 AM, after public transportation service is no longer readily available in the area. To ensure reliable transportation to and from work and avoid extended waits for public transit, applicants should not rely on buses or trains.);

Strong communication skills;

Ability to accurately complete logs and paperwork;

Reliable attendance and punctuality;

Professional appearance and demeanor;

Prior gatehouse, truck gate, warehouse, logistics, or industrial security experience is a plus.
