.NET Application Developer, Tier 1

We’re looking for a skilled Application Developer (.NET Core) to join our Development Department.

The Development Department is responsible for day-to-day project production and is composed of four teams: application development, front-end development, digital support, and systems operations (sysops). We collaborate closely across disciplines to deliver scalable, secure, and maintainable digital solutions for our clients.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building robust back-end systems, APIs, and CMS-driven applications using modern Microsoft technologies.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain applications and APIs using .NET Core / .NET
  • Build and extend CMS-driven and custom web applications
  • Design, manage, and optimize Microsoft SQL Server databases
  • Implement object-oriented, testable, and maintainable code
  • Assess technical requirements and contribute to project scope, timelines, and estimates
  • Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and sysops to deliver complete solutions
  • Provide ongoing project status updates to internal teams and management
  • Stay current with evolving Microsoft, web, and cloud technologies
  • Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical planning
  • Present back-end architecture and implementation details to internal teams and clients as needed

Primary Qualifications:

  • Strong experience with .NET Core / .NET and C#
  • Experience building APIs and server-side web applications
  • Proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server, including schema design and stored procedures
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and application architecture

Expected Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 1–3 years of professional experience developing applications using Microsoft web technologies
  • Experience working with CMS platforms such as: Kentico, Sitefinity, Sitecore
  • Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio and Git-based source control
