Key Responsibilities

As Boom Truck Operator, your responsibilities will include:

  • Operate boom truck to lift, move, and position heavy materials safely and efficiently.

  • Conduct daily inspections of boom truck and lifting equipment before and after use.

  • Follow rigging protocols, load calculations, and safety standards on every lift.

  • Assist crews with material handling, loading, and unloading.

  • Coordinate with site supervisors and field teams to plan and execute lifts.

  • Comply with all OSHA regulations, DOT requirements, and company safety policies.

  • Maintain accurate equipment logs and reports as required.

Qualifications
  • Valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) with necessary endorsements.

  • NCCCO certification or equivalent boom truck/crane operator certification preferred.

  • Proven experience operating boom trucks or cranes in construction environments.

  • Knowledge of rigging techniques, load handling procedures, and safety standards.

  • Strong focus on jobsite safety, communication, and teamwork.

  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs.
