JOB CATEGORY: ACCOUNTING / BOOKKEEPING / FINANCE

POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for ensuring that PMS is optimizing collections, maintaining accurate balances of patient accounts, and reducing outstanding receivables. This position is a vital link between Executive leadership, patients, insurance carriers, and health centers, focusing on timely collections as well as maintaining positive customer relations.

REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or a closely related field plus five years medical billing experience; OR a minimum of high school diploma / GED plus a combination of nine years related education, training and experience.
  • Two years of supervisory experience required.
  • Knowledge of automated business applications, including word-processing, spreadsheet and data base management applications.
