Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Apprentice Accountant/Bookkeeper to join our team. This role is ideal for someone early in their accounting career who has a strong aptitude for spreadsheets, data organization, and financial accuracy. The position offers hands-on experience in bookkeeping, financial reporting, and data management within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist with day-to-day bookkeeping activities, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Enter, review, and reconcile financial transactions in accounting systems
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records
• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
• Prepare and update spreadsheets for financial tracking, reporting, and analysis
• Analyze data for discrepancies and ensure accuracy across systems
• Assist with payroll processing and expense tracking, as needed
• Generate basic financial reports and summaries for leadership
• Collaborate with team members to improve data workflows and reporting efficiency
