Position Summary
Floor Interior Services is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accountant / Bookkeeper to manage the company's day-to-day financial transactions and maintain accurate financial records. The successful candidate will be responsible for bookkeeping, preparing financial reports, reconciling accounts, supporting tax compliance, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data. 
Core Responsibilities
  • Record daily financial transactions accurately in the accounting system.
  • Maintain the general ledger and chart of accounts.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Prepare and issue customer invoices and follow up on outstanding payments.
  • Reconcile bank, credit card, and vendor statements.
  • Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation.
  • Monitor cash flow and report any discrepancies.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Calculate and prepare tax filings and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing financial records and documentation.
