Job description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to support financial operations for a growing organization in Plant City, Florida. This contract opportunity has the potential to become permanent and is ideal for someone who can confidently manage day-to-day accounting activities, maintain accurate records, and keep multiple business lines organized. The right candidate will be comfortable working in QuickBooks, handling a steady flow of invoices and purchase orders, and ensuring financial information is complete and up to date.
Responsibilities:
• Record financial transactions with accuracy and maintain organized bookkeeping data across multiple areas of the business
• Prepare customer invoices, process vendor bills, and support daily accounts payable and accounts receivable activity
• Review and reconcile bank statements and other financial records to ensure balances are accurate and current
• Compile and maintain contract-related documentation so billing and accounting records remain complete and accessible
• Manage purchase orders and track invoice volume of approximately 10 to 15 entries each day
• Support accounting processes for four distinct business lines while keeping records properly separated and aligned
• Use QuickBooks and construction management software to process transactions and maintain reporting consistency• Hands-on experience performing full charge bookkeeping in a fast-paced business environment
• Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks for daily accounting and financial record management
• Experience handling both accounts payable and accounts receivable responsibilities
• Ability to complete bank reconciliations accurately and on schedule
• Comfortable processing invoices, purchase orders, and detailed financial data entry
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage accounting tasks across multiple business lines
• Construction industry experience is preferred and would be considered a strong advantage
