SUMMARY
The Reservation Sales Agent enthusiastically provides callers with information on room rates, packages, availability regarding room types, amenities regarding the property and the surrounding area while always striving to acquire the highest rate possible.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Acquires and provides a comprehensive, accurate, and up-to-date knowledge of our company to provide guests information based on their needs while exceeding their expectations.
  • Answers guests' questions with patience and empathy, following through any situation or complaint to ensure resolution of the issue and customer satisfaction.
  • Commits to company pursuit of excellence in service and of entrepreneurial, sales-focused culture.
  • Understands and is able to explain room types, rates, parking, charges, taxes, amenities of the resort, and billing to our guests.
  • Performs additional duties and responsibilities as directed by the leadership team.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • At least 3-12 months of relevant experience and/or training. If no educational background, at least 1 year.
  • A combination of experience, education, and/or training may be substituted for either requirement.
  • Previous similar position in a hotel, or similar business entity preferred.
  • Availability to work on weekends and holidays is required.
  • Ability to always maintain a friendly, professional, team-oriented, positive demeanor and diplomatic attitude, especially under stress or challenges.
  • Ability to stand, kneel, squat for prolonged periods of time, up to and including, the entire shift and lift up to 25 lbs.
  • The following position will be filled in accordance with the process set forth in California Labor Code Section 2810.8 and San Diego Municipal Code 311.0101 et. seq.
