Job description

It's fun to work in a company where people truly BELIEVE in what they're doing! We're committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business.

Accredo Packaging is a vertically integrated flexible packaging manufacturer specializing in high barrier films, pouching, flexographic printing, shrink bundling, and towel and tissue overwrap.

Our commitment to sustainability is real: Silver LEED certified facility powered by wind energy.

We're hiring a Business Development Manager to lead our expansion into one of these key corridors. Location: US Remote (EST or CST region) Target Markets: Dallas-Fort Worth, TX | Atlanta, GA | Charlotte, Raleigh, NC | Ohio Major Metros

The Role Operate as the owner of your territory with committed cross department support and an organization wide commitment to customer excellence.

The focus: planning, prospecting, qualifying, and closing new business at direct end users, across regional co packers, high growth and established CPG brands, food, pharma, pet food manufacturers, and towel and tissue producers.

This role requires building and managing a balanced pipeline: Immediate: Quick win opportunities with regional converters, co-packers, emerging brands, and commodity shrink bundling and overwrap business. Medium term: Growing accounts that require validation cycles and operational alignment. Enterprise: Large scale accounts requiring a deep understanding of the discovery process, mapping decision makers, cultivating champions, and navigating complex buying committees.

What We're Looking For 5+ years in packaging sales, preferably flexible films and selling direct to end users. Functional understanding of film structures (PE, PET, OPP, basic barrier properties) and printing. Proven track record building a territory into a multi-million dollar book of business. Disciplined Strategic Hunter mentality: self-directed, strategic about targeting, and energized by high volume outbound prospecting activity and building lasting relationships. Strong moral compass. We value long term partnerships over quick wins. You set accurate expectations, and you keep them. Team player that collaborates effectively with R&D, operations, and customer service to deliver on commitments. You drive deals to decision and know when to walk away from opportunities that aren't a good fit. Fortitude and perseverance with a good attitude to manage long validation cycles and see complex deals through.

What We Offer Best-of-Both-Worlds Culture: We are privately family-owned but corporately run. You get the agility, accessibility to leadership, and long-term decision-making of a family business, backed by the operational discipline, systems, and scale of a major corporation.

Vertical Integration Advantage: Sell with confidence knowing you are backed by a facility that controls the process from pellet to pouch. This means better quality control, faster answers, and a true competitive edge in the market.

Sustainability That Sells: A LEED Silver certified, wind-powered facility and a portfolio of recyclable films that align with the sustainability goals of major CPGs.

Technical & Operational Support: You own the relationship; we support the science. You will have direct access to R&D, Product Management, and a dedicated Sales Operations and Customer Service team to help you validate complex technical structures and close deals.

Accredo Packaging, Inc. located in Sugar Land, Tx manufactures and supplies sustainable high value added, flexible packaging, predominantly for the pre-packaged foods and consumer products markets in North America. We are committed to recycling, water and energy conservation, and many sustainable initiatives throughout our manufacturing process. We achieve state of the art, environmentally responsible, flexible packaging conversions by combining the best people in the industry with the latest available technologies.
