Overall Responsibility

Handles all duties related to office management, financial tasks and reports student/family/staff databases, and program support.


Essential Job Functions

  • Oversees all administrative tasks as required by the Day School.
  • Maintains the Procare database of families and students (system supervisor).
  • Maintains current physical children’s files; archives annually as needed.
  • Generates reports for registration/enrollment, volunteer support, class information/directory, as needed.
  • Completes routine financial tasks, i.e., tuition/fee postings, billing, check requests, receipt/tuition summary requests, collections, end of month financial reports, etc.
  • Assists Director in maintaining tuition assistance records and confidential contact with families.
  • Creates and edits forms for the Day School as requested: applications, enrollment forms, webforms, etc.
  • Supports volunteer fundraising committees (Book Fair, Spring Picnic, Fundraising, Pictures/Tours).
  • Liaises with optional enrichment class vendors: Enrichment Services and Soccer Shots
  • Assists Director in DS budget management.
  • Maintains/updates staff handbook, family handbook, and other policy and procedure manuals as requested by the Director.

Other Job Functions

  • Supports teaching staff with start of school prep, rosters, family contact information, reports, tasks related to fundraising, Book Fair information, and other projects as requested.
  • General assistance in any area of the church's ministry where talents and abilities are needed or requested.
