The Role
You own production from pre-pro through final delivery. You're managing the production calendar across multiple clients, coordinating shoots, keeping editors on deadline, and making sure every deliverable meets quality standards before it goes out. This is not a creative director role. This is the person who makes sure production runs.
What You'll DoPre-Production
- Run internal kickoff calls to align the team on creative concept, storyline, and shoot logistics
- Build and manage production budgets, timelines, and project plans
- Coordinate scripting, storyboarding, and shot lists with the creative team
- Book studios, locations, and external vendors (talent, crew, specialty roles)
- Manage wardrobe planning, hospitality, and set logistics
- Maintain the production board so every stakeholder can see what's locked
Production Days
- Manage on-set operations: call sheets, schedule, crew coordination
- Ensure same-day footage dumps so editing starts the next morning
- Coordinate hospitality, equipment checks, and location setup/restore
Post-Production
- Manage the editing pipeline: assign footage, enforce templates defined in pre-pro, track deadlines
- Coordinate internal reviews before client sees anything
- Manage client revision cycles and final asset delivery
- Hand off completed assets to the launch team on time
Ongoing
- Own the production calendar across all active clients
- Manage relationships with videographers, editors, and production contractors
- Track vendor invoices and ensure rates are agreed before work begins
- Flag blockers early. Don't wait for someone to ask.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years managing production workflows (content, video, or campaign production)
- Experience coordinating multi-client production schedules
- Strong project management skills. You live in timelines, task lists, and accountability.
- Comfortable managing contractors and vendor relationships
- Experience with shoot logistics: studio booking, call sheets, on-set coordination
- Clear, direct communicator. You surface problems early and follow up without being asked.
- Comfortable working in Slack, ClickUp, and Google Workspace
- Based in or near Atlanta, GA is a strong plus (production days are in-person)
Nice to Have
- Experience in a marketing or creative agency environment
- Familiarity with social media content production (Reels, short-form video)
- Experience managing editors and post-production pipelines
- Understanding of campaign launches and how production feeds into them
Compensation
Competitive contractor rate based on experience. This role runs at full-time hours.
