MMEDIATE NEED: Material Handler – Book Distribution Center
Location: Gordonsville, VA
Pay Rate: $13.50/hr
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm
First Day Orientation: 9:00am–5:00pm
Are you looking to start right away in a position with growth potential? Join our team as a Material Handler at our book distribution center in Gordonsville, VA!
What You’ll Do:
  • Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring accuracy and correct labeling
  • Use a portable scanning device and Pick-To-Voice system
  • Visually inspect books before packing
  • Walk 5–10 miles per shift picking orders and keeping the warehouse organized
  • Lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
  • Perform cycle counts and maintain quality control reports
  • Refill bubble wrap, return over-picks/mis-picks, check for order accuracy and damage
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to read, write, and follow simple instructions
  • Basic computer and keyboarding skills
  • Ability to walk long distances and lift up to 50 lbs
Preferred:
