Opportunity for Anesthesiologist supporting not-for-profit Bon Secours St. Francis Hospital in Midlothian, VA - 20 minutes from Richmond. Bon Secours Health System is a community-based, not-for-profit health organization with seven hospitals and a longstanding presence in the greater Richmond, area. St. Francis Medical Center is a state-of-the-art facility with 185 private rooms offering the latest in digital technology and a full spectrum of services. Our peaceful setting provides a restful and contemplative environment for patients, families, staff and the community. Our care team model means that we focus on giving everyone a voice, while supporting, respecting, and helping them to deliver care excellence.

Case Assignments & Schedule
Schedule: No night call. Flexible scheduling for work-life balance
General surgery, cardiac, ENT, urology, vascular, orthopedic (adult and pediatric), OB, gynecologic, spine neurosurgery, pediatric, and plastic surgery.

Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and performing interventions as needed
Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership

Requirements
MD or DO from an accredited institution
Completion of Anesthesiology Residency
Board Eligible or Board Certified
Current medical licensure
ECFMG/FLEX (if applicable)
