Job Description

Account managers help grow and retain a book of business by building strong client relationships, developing account management strategies, coordinating with internal teams to deliver solutions that meet clients' needs, and identifying opportunities to grow accounts.

Focus Areas:

  • Client Management: Manage client expectations, bringing issues/concerns to the client's attention before they escalate, offering potential solutions & advising of delivery delays
  • Relationship Management: Build strong, trusting relationships with clients & partners by providing end-to-end channel stewardship & operational support (program conception > execution)
  • Growth: Drive organic account growth by prescribing integrated solutions to client growth challenges
  • Operations:
  • Identify procedural redundancies on an ongoing basis. Propose + implement efficiencies.
  • Hold the integrated delivery team + client accountable. Keep stakeholders honest. Facilitate/lead difficult timeline-related conversations, internally & client-facing
  • Help prioritize work so that the integrated delivery team always focuses on critical items first
  • P&L:

  • Work with the AD to meet profitability targets

About You:

  • Assist in building strong, trusting relationships with clients and partners, providing leadership and support during strategy, concept, and execution.
  • Partners with internal resources to drive additional value and expertise.
  • Continually looks for ways to improve account growth through a clear understanding of clientsโ€™ objectives and goals.
  • Demonstrates the ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively

Qualifications

  • B2B experience preferred but not required
  • Proven account management or other relevant experience
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-directed with a sense of urgency in solving client issues
  • A solid grasp of digital activation channels & philosophies (paid media, SEO, demand gen, ABM, etc.)
  • Able to thrive in a results-driven environment
  • Solid organization skills, including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Understanding of website development, integrated marketing, measurement and analytics, content management, and Internet technology
  • ABM Marketing experience preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree inan appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
  • 4+ years of marketing experience with an agency background is desirable
  • Helpful if you understand Google Apps
