Job Summary

Journeyman level Boilermakers for an outage Bogalusa, LA. This assignment is well planned and a top performing team and your talent is a part of our success. Please ensure your contact information is current and accurate.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Maintenance or repair of all types of heat exchangers, baghouses, boilers, and steam generators
  • Tube bundle repair, removal, and replacement
  • Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings
  • Rigging and bull-rigging qualified
  • Must possess the necessary knowledge and skills to perform all phases of power plant boilermaker-type maintenance / installation work
  • Must work safely and efficiently

Experience:

  • Four-year's experience working in an industrial environment as a Boilermaker

Physical Requirements/Job Site Requirements:

  • Must be able to complete hiring paperwork electronically via DocuSign
  • May be required to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Must posses enough strength and stamina to perform the technical duties and essential functions as identified above
  • Must be able to move in and around confined spaces and uneven areas
  • Must have full range of motion consistent with age
  • Must be able to climb and maintain balance ladders
  • Must be able to adequately hear and respond to voice commands and alerts from other employees, alarms and other job-related noises
  • Visual acuity, depth perception and color discrimination consistent with that required to work at heights and on uneven surfaces
  • Safety/Steel toe shoes are required.
