Superintendent for High-Rise Building

Taylor Management is seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee the daily operations and maintenance of a high-rise residential building. The Superintendent will be responsible for ensuring the building's systems and common areas are well-maintained, responding promptly to resident requests, and coordinating with contractors and vendors.

This role requires strong technical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and safety systems.
  • Coordinate and supervise maintenance staff and external contractors.
  • Respond promptly to tenant maintenance requests and emergencies.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify and resolve maintenance issues.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
  • Manage inventory of tools, equipment, and maintenance supplies.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years experience as a Superintendent or Maintenance Supervisor, preferably in a high-rise residential building.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and boilers.
  • Ability to effectively manage and supervise staff and contractors.
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Availability to respond to emergency situations as needed.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Black Seal License preferred but not required.
