Our Kitchen Managers are responsible for creating an environment where food quality, operational excellence, and team development thrive. This role is more than managing production; it’s about building strong teams, training people well, and creating consistency in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.

We believe the strongest leaders are the ones who lead from the front. You’ll work alongside your team every day, helping uphold our standards while creating a workplace where people feel supported, challenged, and equipped to grow.

If you’re passionate about developing others, maintaining high standards, and building a positive kitchen culture, we’d love to meet you.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead daily Back of House operations in a high-volume brunch environment
  • Ensure consistent execution of recipes, preparation standards, and food quality
  • Maintain food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards
  • Oversee inventory management, product ordering, and proper food rotation
  • Partner with store leadership to drive operational excellence and guest satisfaction
  • Train new team members while supporting ongoing skill development
  • Execute new menu rollouts and culinary initiatives
  • Identify opportunities to improve kitchen systems, organization, and efficiency
  • Lead by example during peak service periods
  • Support both Front of House and Back of House teams in delivering the Biscuit Love experience

  • Previous kitchen leadership experience in a high-volume restaurant environment
  • Full availability, including weekends, holidays, and opening shifts
  • Strong communication and training skills
  • A team-first mindset and commitment to developing others
  • Experience with inventory management, ordering, and food cost awareness
  • Ability to stay organized and make sound decisions under pressure
  • Ability to work on your feet for extended periods and lift up to 55 lbs
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred
Perks + Benefits
  • $22–$28/hr average earnings ($15/hr base pay + tip share)
  • Overtime eligibility
  • Health insurance available Day 1 for full-time team members
  • Free meal and drink every shift
  • Annual raises and advancement opportunities
  • Access to our Staff Care Program for wellness, counseling, and support resources
  • Leadership development and management training
  • Monthly Culture Class and team events
  • Opportunity to grow with a values-driven company committed to investing in its people
Why This Role Matters

Our Kitchen Managers help shape the experience of both our guests and our team members. Success in this role isn’t measured only by food quality or ticket times—it’s measured by your ability to build a kitchen where people can perform at a high level, grow in their skills, and consistently deliver food they’re proud to serve.

Biscuit Love is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

We are proud to build teams that reflect the diversity, talent, and experiences of the communities we serve.

We are a locally-owned family business. We love biscuits and serve breakfast and lunch every day to a community we care about. Yes, we’ve won some awards. Sure, you may have seen us in some pretty neat magazines and on a few foodie shows, but that’s not why we’re here.
We’re here because we believe in breakfast. We believe in breakfast for good. We want you to walk through our doors and know you are welcomed home. We want to create a place for you to share a meal with those you love — a meal made from scratch, with locally-sourced ingredients from farmers and purveyors we know and trust. We believe a meal is more than just food. It’s an experience — an experience in community, joy, empathy, and love.
