Test Engineer - Junior Level Why This is an Exciting Role: As a Test Engineer - Junior Level at Boeing Intelligence & Analytics (BI&A), you will be required to: * Contribute to cutting edge development programs and test new solutions * Innovate testing for RF signal processing applications * Test analytics, visualization and discovery tools * Evaluate the integration of new and legacy software across a variety of hardware form factors * Coordinate with program System Engineers (SE) and review Test & Evaluation related SE information to leverage functional analysis, system descriptions, parameter selection and dependencies, Modeling and Simulation, and initial performance risk assessments to inform evaluation planning * Assess operational environments and priorities for evaluation attention and scenario selection, and coordinate user participation in T&E * Participate in the T&E Working-level Integrated Product Team (WIPT) and/or Integrated Test Team for coordination of evaluation plans * Plan program- and event-level testing for collection of data required for analysis and to sync T&E events with supported decision points * Select, coordinate, and calibrate instrumentation, collection and data management tools, targets, and facilities What Makes BI&A Different: As a fully owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company, BI&A offers an optimal mix of a small company environment with exceptional opportunities supported by a large corporation. Experience and Qualifications: To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications: Required Education and Years of Experience: * Two (2) years of experience as a Test Engineer on programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required. * Bachelor's degree in Math, Science, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required * Four (4) years of additional Test Engineer experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree Required Qualifications: * Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance * Demonstrated experience with RF signal processing applications * Proficiency with the Linux operating system Telework/Remote Availability: Telework/Remote work currently not authorized Work Location(s): Annapolis Junction, MD Contingent Upon Program Award: The position is contingent upon program award.
