Manufacturing Engineer - Experienced/Senior

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) team is seeking Experienced or Senior Manufacturing Engineers for the F-15 program located in Berkeley, MO.

Position Overview: We are looking for Experienced Manufacturing Engineers, with expertise in airplane subsystems, production readiness and composite fabrication. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the efficient production of our world-class aerospace products, including advanced platforms for our Fighter Jet programs.

Position Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement manufacturing processes for air vehicle subsystems

  • Ensure production readiness by identifying and mitigating risks, optimizing workflows, and enhancing operational efficiency

  • Support operations by streamlining processes, improving quality, and ensuring timely delivery of products to our customers

  • Utilize data analysis and engineering principles to drive continuous improvement initiatives

  • Participate in design reviews and provide input on manufacturability and assembly considerations

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement

  • 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience

  • Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • (Level 4) 9 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience

  • Composite Fabrication experience

  • Experience supporting defense and/or aerospace customers

  • Experience with 3D model-based instruction

  • Experience with any of the following: IVT, CREO, CATIA, MES, Gold, PrimeR, Aurora, VisVSA, DELMIA, VisMockup, ProModel, FlexSim, 3D Printed Parts, Moonshine Shop, Maker Space, ImDev, ICIDO, Multi- Monitor Collaborative Rooms

  • Experience with Manufacturing Execution System Common Image (MESci)

  • Experience reviewing and approving other engineers' work (installation plans, tool orders, line stock checks, etc.)
