Project Management Specialist

Company:

Boeing Aerospace Operations

The Boeing Company is seeking a motivated and experienced Materials, and Process Technology (M&PT) Project Management Specialist to join our team in San Antonio, TX. The ideal candidate has experience with Control Account Management (CAM), Earned Value Management (EVM), risk management (BORIS), and scheduling (MS PROJECT and/or Milestones).

Position Responsibilities:

  • Engages in daily project execution

  • Coordinates business case development for projects in support of BDS M&PT at multiple sites.

  • Supports preparation, development, coordination, scheduling, and change management activities of maintaining an integrated plan to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards

  • Coordinate development of detailed WBS and schedule

  • Manage RIOs for the M&PT Team in San Antonio, TX and Jacksonville, FL

  • Coordinate development of Senior Leadership briefings - communicate project progress up, down, & out

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. Final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience):(please see education and experience for the level below)

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher)

  • 5+ Experience with Project Planning, Scheduling, Project Management, or related experience

  • 3+ Experience working with and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives

  • 5+ Experience with project scheduling (Microsoft Project, milestones)

  • Experience with Risk Management and Mitigation

  • 3+ Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)Principles

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills & Experience):

  • 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Experience working on multiple projects of various sizes and complexities

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Experience with technology insertion projects

  • Control Account Manager experience

Typical Education/Experience:

Level 3

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).
