Systems Engr Support Analyst (Systems Engr Support Analyst-General)

The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) organization is seeking a Systems Engineer Support Analyst with P-8 Poseidon or P-3 Orion experience.We are looking for candidates that have operational experience, functioning as an Electronic Warfare Operator (EWO) to help test and improve the quality and capability of the P-8 Mission Systems software products and deliver the best possible solutions to our customers. This position will be 100% onsite in Kent, WA

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop P-8 Mission Systems scenario test procedures to be executed in our Weapons Systems Integration Lab or Software Development Lab.
  • Execute P-8 Mission Systems scenario test procedures in our Weapons Systems Integration Lab or Software Development Lab serving as an EWO.
  • Own the testing aspects of the Radar, Electro-Optical/Infrared (EO/IR), Identification Friend or Foe (IFF), and Electronic Support Measures (ESM) subsystems of the Mission Systems ecosystem within the Weapons Systems Integration Lab or Software Development Lab.
  • Identify and document defects (non-compliance to software requirements or usability) found within the Mission Systems software or avionics suite.
  • Support systems-level integration and test activities of the P-8 Mission Systems and avionics suite.
  • Support the Mission Systems software development team by providing recommendations on integrating new functional capabilities or resolving defects.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to workonsiteat one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience):

  • Level 3: 5 or more years of related work experience.
  • 2+ years of experience as an Electronic Warfare Operator on military aircraft.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills & Experience):

  • Level 4: 8 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Naval Aircrewman Operator (AWO) Electronic Warfare Operator on a P-8/P-3 aircraft.
  • Experience operating in a laboratory environment.
  • Experience with Software Trouble Reports.
  • Familiarity with Agile Software Development principles.
  • Current DoD Secret or Higher security clearance.
