The YMCA of Orange County is a leading non-profit organization dedicated to strengthening communities through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. We are actively seeking a highly engaged, motivated, and community-centered individuals for part-time BODYPUMP Instructors in Mission Viejo.

This role is an opportunity to inspire and empower members by delivering engaging, safe, and effective group exercise classes. This position will look to foster genuine connections, practice exceptional hospitality, and create a safe, positive, and enriching environment where every interaction is meaningful. The BODYPUMP Instructor will help to promote healthy lifestyles and reflects our commitment to community well-being.

Work Schedule: Part-Time

Purpose and Impact:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum Age: 21+ years old.
  • Education & Experience:
    • Preferred: Two- or four-year degree in health, exercise science, recreation, or physical activity-related field.
      • Coursework in human anatomy, exercise physiology, and kinesiology preferred.
    • Up to 2 years of experience in aerobic/anaerobic and strength conditioning required.
    • Related background in health and/or fitness.
  • Certifications:
    • Active BODYPUMP certification required.
    • First Aid and CPR certifications required (training provided and paid for by the YMCA).
