Job Description
Colonial Ford Truck Sales is seeking an experienced Automotive Body Shop Technician to join our collision team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in metal repair, panel replacement, frame and structural work, and refinishing preparation. You'll play a key role in ensuring every repair meets factory standards for safety, appearance, and performance.

Responsibilities
  • Perform body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and structural straightening
  • Refinish and prepare surfaces for painting to OEM standards
  • Align and fit vehicle components such as doors, panels, and bumpers
  • Work with insurance adjusters and estimators to ensure repair accuracy
  • Maintain detailed documentation for all repair work performed
  • Ensure all work meets dealership and manufacturer safety and quality standards
  • Operate power tools and welding equipment safely and effectively
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of professional experience in an automotive body or collision repair setting
  • I-CAR or OEM certifications. Painting and estimating preferred but not required
  • Strong understanding of repair processes, materials, and tools
  • Ability to read and interpret repair orders and technical manuals
  • Attention to detail and commitment to precision workmanship
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
