We are currently seeking a skilled plastic surgeon to join Dr. Jeffries' surgical aesthetic team at Copper Aesthetics located in Traverse City, Michigan.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Consultation: Conduct comprehensive consultations, reviewing medical history and examining files to provide optimal surgical and reconstructive options.
  • Clinical Education: Clearly outline the risks and benefits of procedures, ensuring patients are well-informed and comfortable.
  • Surgical Excellence: Perform a range of cosmetic and reconstructive surgeries, including breast, body, and trauma-related cases.
  • Continuum of Care: Manage all pre-operative preparation and post-operative follow-up, including wound management and monitoring healing progress.
  • Collaborative Call: Participate in a reasonable 1:5 call rotation at Munson Medical Center (Level 2 Trauma Center).
  • Practice Integration: Maintain accurate patient records and contribute to the evolution of clinic policies and administrative excellence.

Requirements
  • Medical Degree (MD/DO) and an active license (or eligibility) to practice in the state of Michigan.
  • Completed Residency in Plastic Surgery; additional training in cosmetic or reconstructive surgery is a plus.
  • Clinical Competence: Sound understanding of patient aftercare, wound management, and surgical safety.
