Job description

Dragonfly Boatworks is hiring an experienced Gel Coat Finisher / Boat Repair Technician to support repair, finish, and quality work on our boats. We are looking for someone with strong hands-on ability, attention to detail, and experience producing clean, consistent finish work in a shop environment.
Key Responsibilities

  • Perform gel coat finishing and cosmetic boat repairs
  • Complete sanding, fairing, patching, and surface prep work
  • Use hand tools and electric tools safely and effectively
  • Inspect work carefully and maintain high quality standards
  • Follow shop procedures, safety requirements, and production instructions
  • Work independently and as part of a team to complete repair work on schedule
Qualifications

  • Previous experience in gel coat finishing, boat repair, fiberglass work, or related finish/repair work
  • Strong working knowledge of hand tools and power tools
  • Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic shop math
