Job description

The Boarding School Sales Advisor, Volleyball (Internally known as a Student-Athlete Advisor)ย role acts as a subject matter expert on Academy programming and provides prospective families with guidance and support throughout the Enrollment process. ย This role is responsible for prospecting, identifying, and generating interest in the Boarding School program to reach the Academyโ€™s enrollment goals. This role requires a flexible, proactive, and resourceful professional who can uncover potential customers, gather pertinent information, and qualify leads. The ideal candidate will have excellent research skills, be detail-oriented, and possess a strong ability to communicate and build relationships with teammates and prospective clients.ย 


Position Responsibilities:
โ€ข Manage the full enrollment process for prospective Academy student-athletes and families from inquiry through enrollment.
โ€ข Guide families through the decision-making process by assessing needs and recommending appropriate IMG Academy programs.
โ€ข Build and manage a pipeline of prospective student-athletes through outreach, follow-up, and relationship management.
โ€ข Host prospective families through campus visits, tours, virtual meetings, and other enrollment events.
โ€ข Collaborate with Sport Directors and campus departments to achieve enrollment goals and ensure a seamless family experience.
โ€ข Develop and execute enrollment strategies that support sport-specific and Academy growth objectives.
โ€ข Identify opportunities to increase enrollment through referrals, partnerships, events, and other business development efforts.
โ€ข Maintain comprehensive knowledge of IMG Academy programs, offerings, and enrollment policies.
โ€ข Manage prospect, applicant, and enrollment data within CRM systems to support reporting and forecasting.
โ€ข Conduct financial conversations in accordance with Academy policies and enrollment objectives.
โ€ข Track performance metrics and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
โ€ข Support team initiatives, special events, campus visits, and other cross-functional activities as needed.
โ€ข Participate in team meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.
โ€ข Adhere to all company policies, procedures, compliance requirements, and ethical business standards.
โ€ข Perform other duties as assigned.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:ย 
โ€ข ย  ย Bachelorโ€™s degree in an applicable fieldย 
โ€ข ย  ย Experience with MS Officeย 
โ€ข ย  ย 3 years of Sales, Enrollment, Admissions, or College Recruiting experienceย 
โ€ข ย  ย Track record of sales revenueย 
โ€ข ย  ย Experience cold calling, following up on leads and generating pipelinesย 
โ€ข ย  ย Desire to work collaboratively with colleaguesย 
โ€ข ย  ย Excellent written and verbal communication skillsย 
โ€ข ย  ย Experience competing or coaching volleyball at the collegiate, or professional level
โ€ข ย  ย Knowledge of High School and College landscape related to the sportย 


Preferred Skills:
โ€ข ย  ย Masters in an applicable fieldย 
โ€ข ย  ย Bilingualย 


Physical Demands and Work Environment:
โ€ข ย  ย Ability to lift, move, push and pull equipment or boxes more than 40 poundsย 
โ€ข ย  ย Should be able to handle outdoor temperatures for a reasonable periodย 
โ€ข ย  ย Must be able to move around campus which includes gym, turf, fields, etc.ย 
โ€ข ย  ย Ability to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends and holidays is required
