Job description

Manages software build execution, release packaging, deployment promotion, release sequencing, rollback preparation, and release coordination activities supporting BMx DevSecOps operations. This role supports controlled progression of software changes through development, integration, staging, and production environments while ensuring release artifacts remain synchronized with configuration baselines, RMF evidence, deployment approvals, and operational readiness requirements.
The Build & Release Engineer works directly with the DevSecOps Platform Lead, Configuration Manager, Independent Test Lead, Cybersecurity personnel, and Enterprise Integration personnel to coordinate release validation, deployment readiness reviews, rollback procedures, and operational stabilization activities. This role also supports artifact generation, pipeline troubleshooting, deployment automation, and release reporting activities supporting BMx sustainment and modernization execution.
Requirements
Must possess DoD Secret Clearance.
