Compensation (Hourly: Flat-Rate):

  • $20-$30 / hour
    • Based on experience, certifications, and skill level
  • Tenure Bonus Program*:
    • Starting at 6 months, earn up to $3.50/hour on every flat-rate hour turned
    • Bonus increases with tenure and is paid annually

Schedule:

  • FULL-TIME
  • Sundays Always Off
  • Saturday Availability Required

Job Description

The Roadside Technician will be responsible for responding to service calls and providing on-site automotive support to customers experiencing vehicle issues. This includes tasks such as jump starts, tire changes, fluid top-offs, battery testing, and basic inspections.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Respond to roadside assistance calls in a timely and professional manner
  • Perform essential services such as jump starts, tire changes, lockouts, fluid top-offs, and battery testing
  • Conduct basic vehicle checks and inspections, reporting any major concerns to the Service Advisor
  • Keep service equipment and vehicle in clean, working condition
  • Follow proper procedures for safe vehicle handling and roadside operations
  • Communicate clearly with customers and teammates to ensure seamless service
  • Maintain accurate service records and documentation for each job
  • Use tools and materials efficiently to avoid unnecessary waste
  • Follow all company safety policies and immediately report any incidents
Qualifications
  • Prior experience in automotive maintenance or roadside assistance preferred
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and a problem-solving mindset
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings if needed
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently in outdoor conditions
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Must be authorized to work in the USA
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check, drug test, and MVR screening
