Job description

The BMS Control Engineer will play a key role in managing building management system controls primarily within residential projects. Working within a collaborative engineering team, this role involves designing and implementing control strategies, programming software, testing equipment, and supporting system integration to ensure seamless operation. The engineer will also handle troubleshooting, data analysis, documentation, commissioning, and provide maintenance support. Occasional travel may be required to support project needs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement control strategies for residential building management systems
  • Program software using proprietary BMS software and standard PLC programming tools
  • Test and validate equipment and systems to ensure performance standards
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to BMS and HVAC controls
  • Integrate third-party platforms and ensure seamless system operation
  • Analyze system data to optimize performance and efficiency
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and commissioning reports
  • Support maintenance activities and provide ongoing system support

Preferred Qualifications
